Hi, I’m Roz.

I am a fully insured and RHS-qualified gardener, covering Renishaw, Eckington, Dronfield and the surrounding areas of North-East Derbyshire and South Sheffield. I’d love to help you to enjoy your garden, no matter how large or small it may be!

I have gardened for as long as I can remember, but in 2021 I decided to take the plunge and leave my desk job for something more fulfilling – and every day I am thankful that I did. There is no better job in the world!

Whatever I’m doing, whether it’s coming up with a planting plan, weeding a border or pruning an overgrown shrub, I do so with wildlife in mind – using plants which attract a variety of bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects, encouraging home composting, using peat-free compost and mulches, and creating habitats in which animals and insects can thrive.

In 2021, I was incredibly honoured to play a small part in the My Real Garden book which celebrates a “virtual but real” community created by the RHS Chelsea Gold medallist Ann-Marie Powell. Borne out of the lifeline which gardening became to so many of us during the pandemic, in the book we share our passion, our successes and failures, and top tricks and hacks from our plots, allotments and windowsills.

Proceeds from the book go to Greenfingers – a national charity which supports life-limited children who spend time in hospices, along with their families, by creating inspiring gardens for them to relax in and benefit from.
